Unfortunately it's not that easy. This kind of barcodes are integrating a lot of error correction symbols (based on the funky Reed-Solomon algo). I've found an already existing PHP implementation of this ( http://www.swetake.com/qr/qr_cgi_e.html ) when I'll have time I'll dig into it.
