Hello,
I have X-Series (abscissa) values that run from 0.2 to 4.0, e.g.
0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0................4.0

So for x=0.0 a value is never defined, the range always starts at 0.2.

However I want the scale ticks to show up at 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0

But, when I set labelskip to 4, the scale will show 0.2, 1.2, 2.2, 3.2

So I would like to force the scale range from 0 to 4, so it should show the ticks at
0.0, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0

Using drawScale you can pass the SCALE_MODE_MANUAL to force the range for the Y-Axis, but as far as I can tell it is not possible to set the range for the X-Axis (the series passed with setAbscissa). Is this possible?

Or is there another way to force the ticks on the whole numbers?

I am also new to pChart and have just deployed for the first time. A client asked for a range of all of the days in a month (1 - 31) on the X-Axis. So far, I have not been able to figure out how to get a range of integers on the X-Axis and cannot even tell him if it's possible or not. The spam reply to your post is a pretty good indication that this forum is not closely monitored.

Unfortunately I haven't figured it out, yet. When I check the FAQ on http://wiki.pchart.net/doc.faq.scaling.html, about SCALE_MODE_MANUAL, it literary says:

You may want to configure a static scale. In this mode you‘ll have to provide the MIN and MAX values of each X-Axis. These values are provided through an array.


This talks about X-Axis, but I wonder if this is a typo, because if I understand the rest of the text it refers to thy Y-Axis and also the examples only seem to refer to the Y-Axis.
I also checked the source code and it only seems to refer to the Y-Axis.

Hopefully someone reads this and can correct me if I'm wrong.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is to manually adapt the Abscissa series to contain the range of values that you want....
